Allow Priority people to reach to you while on dnd in Teams

Sometimes while working on important stuff or focusing on things you do not want to be interrupted by chat so you set you status as dnd (do not disturb) so you don’t receive messages but at the same time there are contacts you have whom you need to hear from them as they will be communicating important stuff with you so Teams provides you this functionality where you can define priority access people so they can contact you while you are on dnd status.

To do so follow those steps:

Right click on Teams icon on the task bar and then press settings

This will open the settings page, select privacy and then in section Do not disturb press Manage priority access.

Then from this screen search name and select it, will be added to your list of priority people who can reach to you while you are on do not disturb.
