New SharePoint Online Admin Center

In previous blog we spoke about SharePoint and creating nice looking communication site to help business.

Topic covered here is about back end for managing our created SharePoint sites, there is a tool/console for managing SharePoint called SharePoint admin center.

Microsoft has recently announced the release and roll out for new SharePoint admin center to manage SharePoint sites and SharePoint functionality in Office 365.

With this new Admin center makes it more easy to manage your SharePoint environment than the previous one.

With this new center you can get:

  • Nice looking dashboard to know the file types activities.
  • Control Sharing of content.
  • Control device access.
  • Manage several settings.

Microsoft just sent a note to Office 365 subscribers

” The new SharePoint admin center will be the default experience for some organizations. We’ll begin rolling out this change soon.

The SharePoint admin center experience, for Office 365 organizations of 50 or fewer licenses, will default to the new admin center experience.  You can switch back to the classic experience as necessary “
