Create live Event with Microsoft Stream

Discussed before how to make live events using Teams and Skype

Let us see now other way on how to make Live events through Microsoft Stream.

From Office 365 you can press on the 9 dots button to access your service and look for stream or go to this link direct

Once you open Microsoft stream you will get this page, from the Top Menu you see Create, press on it it will drop this list

You will see a lot of options like uploading videos, create groups, channels but what we are interested in is to create Live Event so we will choose the second one “Live Event”.

Then select language and press save

Enter the event details, like title dates.

Press publish event button that exists on right bottom corner.

Then press start setup that is on the dark middle screen.

you should have your camera connected but i don’t have in such case when you are ready press start event button.

Worth noting that currently Stream Live events doesn’t support sharing with users outside your office 365 tenant but this feature will be available soon to know the dates you need to follow the Roadmap as we stated in this blog
