Manage shifts of your team using Microsoft Teams
You have a team who works on shifts and you want to manage the shifts of your team to make sure they cover the support needed.
In previous post we spoke about Staffhub but this is going to be decommissioned soon, Microsoft announced the new Shifts management tool available through Microsoft Teams.
Let us take a look on how to use Shifts in Teams
First step open Teams. then in the navigation bar press on the 3 dots button
you will get a pop up screen as shown below, you can press on Shifts
If it is the first time to use Shifts this will give you the option to create schedule for specific existing team
Press create beside a team.
Then confirm your location and timezone
Then you an take tour or skip to start working direct
This is how it look like
You can add your team using the people button as highlighted below
then start searching and selecting the account
Then double click on the cell beside your team member name this will pop up Add Shift screen.
You can specify start and end and add activity like break or lunch, then save it or share it with your team.
from Shifts screen you can press setting tab to adjust your Shifts settings.
