Live Event Broadcast with Teams
We introduced before Microsoft teams chat based software and how it is helpful and we discussed before about broadcast meeting with Skype
In this post we will discuss other way for creating live broadcast events using Microsoft Teams. With Teams live events you can host 10, 000 attendees.
Let us sign in to our Teams software that we downloaded
Then open in it and go to Meetings Tab
Press on Schedule a meeting button that is in the below screenshot
Then click on drop down arrow beside New Meeting
You will get drop down to choose between meeting and live event so choose live event.
Enter the data of the Event and press Next
Select public if you want anyone even outside your org to access the event.
This will generate the event where you can copy the link and share it with attendees or over social media
if you press on join button in the above screenshot this will open the event for you.
You will find Share button at the bottom right corner, press on.
This will pop up selections to select to share i selected desktop to share everything.
Then I press on the content this will move it to the shared screen
Then press on Send Live so it will capture my screen live
Last step is to press start button to start my event this will give you this notification press continue.
Now you are live you can start you session un mute yourself and start speaking and sharing.
If we open the event link from another machine as attendee
We will get the below screen when it tries to load
Then we will start seeing the presenter screen
Teams live event is very nice and powerful tool to create online events, I advice to try it.
