Microsoft has just announced the acquisition of Express Logic a leader in IoT.
Microsoft has announced earlier that it is going to invest 5 billion dollars on IoT over the next 4 years.
Express Logic is known that has over 6.2 billion deployments and by this acquisition Microsoft will be able to grow the number of devices that can seamlessly connect to Azure and enable new intelligent capabilities.
So it is win win for Microsoft to be involved more in IoT business and at the same time bring more revenue for Azure.
