Using Your Restore Point
If you encounter problems and need to use a restore point that we created in this post, follow these steps:
- Access System Restore:
- Press the
Windows keyand type “System Restore” into the search bar. - Click “Create a restore point” and then “System Restore” in the System Properties window.
- Press the
- Select a Restore Point:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select a restore point from the list provided. you can also perform a “Scan for affected programs” to see what will be changed.
- Initiate the Restore:
- After selecting a restore point, click “Next,” review your selection, and click “Finish” to start the restoration process. Your computer will restart, and Windows will revert to the state captured by the restore point.
