Join Microsoft Team using code

In previous blog we presented how to create team or join team.

In this post we will present how to join an existing Microsoft Teams using code.

In companies where you have a lot of Teams and would like to manage permissions and put process on how your members can join the Team you create or own, instead of searching across all teams and scrolling trying to find it, you can just get this code from teams owner and then use it to join the team.

First step is to get the code, you need to be owner of the Team or having the required permission.

Go to your team and then press on the three dots beside the name

Then click Manage team.

Then press on the Settings Tab

Then click on Team code and press Generate button this will generate ode for you that you can send to members that you would like that they join.

Second step now your team got the code they need to use it.

Press on Join or create a team and then you will find the second icon is to enter the code that you have and then press join. once you do that you will be able access the team we created
